ChemChats are monthly open roundtable discussions on Zoom facilitated by NEACT. ChemChats are aimed at high school and college chemistry teachers but are open to all STEM teachers. Come to share ideas, come to ask questions, or just come for the collegiality.
Our topic for this afternoon is "Project Based Learning". What are viable topics for different types of chem courses? How do we do this without being overwhelmed? Where are good resources? How do we find the class time? You can add to or access shared documents before, during and after the Chat in this folder.
ChemChats are hosted by Sue Klemmer. I am ZOOMING from the coast of Maine, so times are always stated as east coast time. We run 4:00-5:00 pm EST.
The next ChemChat will be April 11th (the 2nd Thursday of the month is our usual date) and that topic will be "Differentiation". [We are still seeking topics for May and June.]
