Art Greenberg – author of four books on the history of chemistry. He will share some of his knowledge and
discuss ways to bring history into the classroom. He also plans to bring in a brief discussion of the
Djerassi/Hoffmann play, ÒOxygen."
11:30 Molecular Modeling in
the Chemistry Classroom Dr.
Richard Johnson - Explores how to use Spartan software for molecular
modeling. Hands on practice and several free copies available. Bring a laptop if you can and if you
have the program already – bring it too because he has new apps to add to
it.
